Door to Port Shipping
Door to port (DTP) shipping is an efficient and cost effective way of shipping goods internationally. The goods are picked up from your home, office or factory and delivered to an international port or inland terminal which you can select. For door to port shipments, the consignee (receiver) will take care of import charges, clearance and door delivery.
At the origin we undertake
• Packaging at the shipper’s premise
• Empty container placing and loading
• Cargo insurance
• All export documentation support
At the destination consignee is responsible for
• Customs clearance
• Duties ,taxes and terminal fee
• Collecting freight from terminal.
We offer service to every international ports and Inland Container Depots (ICDs’)
The documents required at the origin are mainly Passport copy, Visa page copy & Packing list. Documents could vary depending upon the destination. Always get in touch with your consulate or Embassy to know more about your baggage entitlement. Proof of residency abroad may also be required.
For commercial shipments invoice, packing list and certificate of origin are mandatory. You may also have to legalize documents. Please feel free to talk to our export documentation executives regarding documents required at the destination. Though it is receiver’s responsibility to clear shipment, we can guide to for a hassle free clearance.
